Rebul Boards

Laminating a paper honeycomb core with paper sheets results in lightweight structural board with a high relative flexural rigidity. Using locally produced recycled paper and water based glues ensure that the product is fully recyclable and pulpable.

The product's high crush strength offers designers and board convertors a volatile organic compound (VOC) free and fully pulpable alternative to timber sheets, medium-density fibreboard (MDF) and non-renewable rigid or foam-filled plastic materials.

Rebul honeycomb board is dimensionally stable and the high strength-to-weight ratio makes it perfect for 3D structures and point-of-sale displays. It can be printed, folded, laminated, shape cut, v-cut, double v-cut, double-folded, photo mounted, painted and pressed with vinyl. All applications of honeycomb board have acoustic and insulating properties and offer protection against impact.

Storage and Handling

Boards are handled during production using gloves. Small quantity orders will be delivered upright and large quantity orders will be delivered palletised.

The boards must be stored flat (horizontally), preferably in cooler conditions, away from sunshine or heat. Boards are expected to warp. Do not use weight to prevent this, allow the board to warp. Simply turn the board over and allow time to return to original shape. Slight warping will occur as far down as 5 to 10 boards. During operations, remove top warped boards to access flat boards.
